Arrive in Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal, and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy a traditional welcome dinner, where you'll be introduced to the culture and cuisine of Nepal.
Spend the day exploring the cultural and historical landmarks of Kathmandu. A professional guide will take you to key sites, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, and Patan Durbar Square.
Embark on a scenic 10-hour bus ride from Kathmandu to Beni, a bustling town located at the start of the trek. Beni is the gateway to the Dhaulagiri region and offers a glimpse into rural life in Nepal.
The first day of trekking begins with a 5-hour hike to Babichaur. The trail passes through lush forests, charming villages, and terraced fields, offering views of the surrounding mountains.
Continue your trek for approximately 4 hours, descending towards Dharapani Phedi. The route traverses riverside paths and fields, allowing you to immerse in the natural beauty of the area.
The trek to Sibang takes about 6 hours, as you ascend through forested terrain, crossing several streams and small villages. The views of the surrounding valleys and peaks begin to emerge.
Today’s hike takes around 6 hours. You’ll experience a gradual ascent, passing through dense forests and small settlements. The path offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscapes.
Trek for about 5 hours, climbing steadily through the forest to reach Dobang. The area is known for its peaceful atmosphere and impressive views of the surrounding mountains.
Your day’s trek takes you upwards for about 6 hours, through alpine forests and past waterfalls. The climate becomes more alpine as you gain altitude, and you’ll begin to see views of Dhaulagiri I and II.
Trek for approximately 4 hours to reach the Italian Base Camp. As you approach higher altitudes, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic, with views of glaciers and snow-covered peaks.
A crucial rest day to acclimatize to the high altitude. Explore the surrounding areas and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Dhaulagiri mountain range and surrounding glaciers.
Today’s trek takes you about 4 hours to the Japanese Base Camp, where you’ll have stunning views of the Dhaulagiri range, including Dhaulagiri I and II. The terrain becomes more rugged as you approach this high-altitude base.
After a 4-hour trek, you will reach Dhaulagiri Base Camp, where the magnificent north face of Dhaulagiri towers above. The landscape here is surreal, with glaciers, icefalls, and dramatic peaks all around.
This challenging day involves crossing the French Pass (5,360m) and descending to French Phedi (5,080m), a journey that takes around 7 hours. The pass offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers.
After crossing Thapa Pass (5,250m), descend to Kalopani, a village located at 4,930m. This is a long and strenuous day, taking approximately 7 hours to complete.
Descend for 6 hours to the village of Marpha, known for its apple orchards and picturesque whitewashed houses. The village offers a serene atmosphere and great views of the surrounding peaks.
The trek continues for about 7 hours, following a winding trail along the Kali Gandaki River, passing through traditional villages and beautiful landscapes.
After 6 hours of trekking, you’ll reach Tatopani, renowned for its natural hot springs. Relax in the soothing waters, a welcome relief after the long trek.
Today’s trek will take you to Ghorepani in approximately 8 hours. Along the way, you’ll pass through dense rhododendron forests, with glimpses of the majestic Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
Wake up early to hike to Poonhill for a stunning sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Afterward, trek for about 5 hours to Tadapani, a village with great views of the mountains.
After 4 hours of trekking, you will reach Ghandrung, a beautiful Gurung village offering spectacular views of the Annapurna and Machapuchare peaks.
Trek for 5 hours to Nayapool, then take a 3-hour drive to Pokhara, a picturesque city known for its lakes, temples, and views of the Himalayas.
Return to Kathmandu by bus or plane, marking the end of your trekking adventure.
