More Information
Mt. Manaslu (8,163m / 26,781ft), situated in the Gorkha Massif of central Nepal, is the eighth highest mountain in the world. The name “Manaslu” is derived from the Sanskrit word "Maanas," meaning "soul" or "intellect." The first successful ascent of Manaslu was made by a Japanese expedition in 1956, and to this day, it is often referred to as the “Japanese Mountain.”
With multiple routes available for the climb, the South Face is considered the most challenging. Our expedition follows a carefully planned itinerary, beginning from Gorkha to Samagaon and returning via the Larkya La Pass, connecting to the Annapurna Circuit. This expedition promises an unforgettable experience for climbers seeking to conquer one of the world’s most formidable peaks.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, we will host a welcome dinner, providing an opportunity to meet fellow team members and discuss the expedition.
