Embark on an extraordinary journey to one of the most remote and breathtaking regions of Tibet—the Namcha Barwa & Tsangpo Gorge Trek. This challenging yet rewarding trek takes adventurers deep into the eastern Himalayas, exploring the dramatic landscapes surrounding the Tsangpo Gorge, the world's deepest canyon, and the mystical Namcha Barwa (7,782m), revered as the "Father of Ice Mountains." The journey begins in Lhasa, where travelers acclimatize while exploring ancient monasteries and cultural landmarks before driving through the lush, forested valleys of Nyingchi, often referred to as the "Switzerland of Tibet." From there, the trekking route winds through hidden villages, high-altitude passes, and verdant subtropical forests, revealing spectacular waterfalls, sacred caves, and untouched landscapes that few have ever witnessed.
This 24-day trek is an immersion into the raw beauty and spiritual depth of the Tibetan plateau. Trekkers will navigate through isolated mountain trails, encounter local Tibetan communities, and experience the region’s unique blend of Buddhism and Bon traditions. Along the way, the expedition reaches Pemako Chung Monastery, a sacred site deeply connected to the legend of the hidden paradise, Beyul Pemako. With breathtaking vistas of Namcha Barwa and encounters with the mighty Yarlung Tsangpo River, this trek is ideal for seasoned adventurers seeking an unparalleled off-the-beaten-path experience in Tibet.
Upon arrival in Lhasa, the spiritual heart of Tibet, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for acclimatization to the high altitude. Take it easy and drink plenty of fluids to adjust to the thin air.

Stroll through the bustling Barkhor Street, where you can observe local pilgrims and explore traditional markets.
Continue your cultural exploration with a visit to Drepung Monastery, once the world’s largest monastery, and Sera Monastery, renowned for its fascinating monk debates. These sites provide a deep insight into Tibetan Buddhist traditions.
