After an early breakfast, board a flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa, Tibet. The scenic flight will offer spectacular views of the Himalayas, including Everest on a clear day. Upon arrival in Lhasa, you’ll be transferred to your hotel to rest and acclimatize to the altitude.
Your guided tour in Lhasa begins with a visit to the iconic Potala Palace, once the winter residence of the Dalai Lama and a symbol of Tibetan Buddhism. The architectural marvel and its stunning interior will leave you in awe. Next, explore the Drepung Monastery, one of the largest and most influential Tibetan monasteries, where you can observe monks in their daily rituals and admire the monastery's historical significance.

This day’s journey takes you towards the town of Zhangmu, located near the Nepal-China border. After breakfast, walk across the Friendship Bridge into Nepal and drive back to Kathmandu. The scenic drive offers a final view of the Tibetan plateau as you make your way back to the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu.
Spend your final day in Kathmandu visiting some of its most iconic and revered sites. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu temple on the banks of the Bagmati River, and Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world. Explore the ancient city of Bhaktapur, known for its medieval architecture, narrow streets, and rich culture.
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight home, taking with you unforgettable memories of Tibet’s majestic landscapes, ancient monasteries, and timeless spirituality.
