The Singla Pass Trek is a breathtaking and less-traveled route in the Dhading District, offering an immersive experience in Nepal’s remote landscapes and rich cultural heritage. This trek takes you over the Singla Pass (4,040m), leading to some of the most secluded and pristine areas, including Laba, the highest village in Dhading.

Depending on your interests, you can choose between two different endings for the trek:

  1. The Gorkha Route – Visit the historic town of Gorkha, home of the legendary Gorkha warriors and the birthplace of King Prithvi Narayan Shah, the founder of modern Nepal. Explore Gorkha Durbar, a fortress palace rich in history and culture.

  2. The Khalte Experience – Spend two days camping in the beautiful Khalte region, where you can interact with local families, visit village schools, and experience the authentic rural lifestyle. You may even get the chance to teach an English class, taste local delicacies like sugarcane toffee, or enjoy freshly brewed raksi (local liquor).

No matter which option you choose, the Singla Pass Trek promises awe-inspiring views of the Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and Langtang ranges, lush green valleys, and encounters with indigenous cultures that have remained untouched by modernization.
