  • Swoyambhunath (Monkey Temple): Your day starts with a visit to this 2500-year-old Buddhist stupa perched on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley. The stupa is surrounded by small shrines and monasteries, and the area is known for its monkeys and spiritual ambiance. Non-Hindus are not permitted inside the temple, but the surrounding area is filled with fascinating history and culture.

You will witness the sacred ritual of cremation along the riverbank, a moving and important part of Hindu tradition.
