More Information
Bardia National Park, located in the western Terai of Nepal, is one of the largest and most pristine wildlife sanctuaries in the region. Known for its rich biodiversity, the park is home to numerous endangered species, including the elusive Bengal tiger, one-horned rhinos, and various reptiles and bird species. In recent years, sightings of wild elephants have further elevated the park’s reputation as a premier wildlife destination. The park’s remote and undisturbed environment offers rare and exciting wildlife encounters. The Bardia Lodge and Tented Camp offer comfortable accommodations for those wishing to explore the park. Visitors can enjoy activities such as jungle safaris, canoeing, and bird watching along the banks of the Karnali River. A visit to Bardia can be combined with an adventurous rafting trip on the Karnali and Bheri rivers or a trek to remote regions like Dolpo, Rara Lake, or Humla in far-western Nepal.
