The High Manaslu Circuit is a remote and culturally enriching trek that offers breathtaking mountain views, challenging terrains, and an immersive experience into the traditions of the Gurung and Tibetan communities. This year, we extend our journey northward towards the border of Tibet to explore the hidden Tsum Valley—an enchanting region where ethnically Tibetan inhabitants continue to maintain strong ties with Tibetan culture and traditions. This side trip is an absolute highlight, offering an unspoiled Buddhist cultural experience and abundant wildlife in a secluded, untouched landscape.
