Pokalde Peak (5,806m) is one of the easiest trekking peaks in Nepal and an excellent choice for climbers looking to combine peak climbing with the renowned Everest Base Camp trek. The summit provides breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, and Ama Dablam.

The peak is located south of Kongma La Pass (5,535m) and can be approached via multiple routes, including the North Ridge, North-East Face, North-West Face, and South Face. The climb involves sections of rocky ridges and snow-covered slopes, making it a rewarding yet relatively straightforward ascent. The most popular approach is via the Kongma La Pass, offering a stunning and less crowded route in the Everest region.

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and briefing about the adventure ahead.

Explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Final preparations for the trek will be made, including equipment checks and permit processing.

Early morning scenic flight to Lukla, the gateway to Everest. After landing, we begin our trek through picturesque villages and forests along the Dudh Koshi River, reaching Phakding for the night.

A challenging ascent through pine forests and suspension bridges leads us to Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa town with stunning views of Everest and surrounding peaks.

A rest day to adjust to the altitude. Optional hikes to Everest View Hotel, Khumjung village, or the Sherpa Museum offer stunning panoramas and cultural experiences.

Leaving the main Everest trail, we ascend towards Phortse Thanga, passing through rhododendron forests and enjoying views of Ama Dablam and Thamserku.

A scenic trek along the Dudh Koshi River valley, with an ascent to Machhermo, where the first sight of Cho Oyu (8,201m) awaits.

We trek past beautiful turquoise lakes and glaciers, finally reaching the breathtaking Gokyo Valley, one of the most picturesque places in the Everest region.

A sunrise ascent to Gokyo Ri rewards us with one of the best panoramic views of Everest, Cho Oyu, and Makalu. The rest of the day is spent exploring the stunning Gokyo Lakes.

A lesser-traveled route takes us towards Nyimagawa, providing a remote and peaceful trekking experience.

A challenging day as we cross the Cho La Pass, a high mountain pass with incredible ice formations and breathtaking scenery before descending to Dzongla.

A short but scenic trek along the Khumbu Glacier brings us to Lobuche, a major stop on the way to Everest Base Camp.

We trek to Kala Patthar, the most famous viewpoint for close-up views of Everest, before descending to Gorak Shep.

A dream destination for many, we reach Everest Base Camp, standing at the foot of the world’s highest peak, before returning to Lobuche.

Leaving the main trail, we head towards Pokalde Base Camp, nestled beneath the Kongma La Pass, preparing for our climb.

The climb begins before dawn. A mix of rocky ridges and snow-covered sections leads to the summit, offering breathtaking views of Everest, Makalu, and Ama Dablam. We then descend to Base Camp.

A beautiful descent through forests and valleys takes us to Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery.

We trek to Khumjung, a traditional Sherpa village, before descending back to Namche Bazaar.

Retracing our steps, we make our final descent to Lukla, celebrating the completion of our trek.

A spare day in case of bad weather affecting flights. If not needed, explore Kathmandu or relax.

A morning flight back to Kathmandu, where you can enjoy a free day exploring the city or shopping for souvenirs.

Our team will transfer you to the airport for your departure, marking the end of an unforgettable Himalayan adventure.
