Best Time to Trek Annapurna Base Camp

Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day resting or exploring the lively streets of Thamel.
Overnight in Kathmandu.

Today, journey to the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara — either a scenic 6-7 hour drive or a 25-minute flight. Relax by Phewa Lake, with stunning views of Machapuchare reflected in the water.
Overnight in Pokhara.

A short drive takes you to Nayapul, the trailhead. Begin trekking through lush valleys and charming villages. The day ends with a steep climb of stone steps up to Ulleri.

Walk through beautiful forests of oak and rhododendron, alive with birds and natural beauty. Ghorepani welcomes you with spectacular mountain views.
Trekking time: 4-5 hours | Overnight in Ghorepani.

An early morning hike to Poon Hill offers a breathtaking sunrise over Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges — a highlight of the trek! Afterward, descend to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue the trek to Tadapani.

Descend through lush forests and cross streams before climbing up to the beautiful Gurung village of Chhomrong, the gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary.

Cross the Chhomrong Khola and ascend through bamboo and rhododendron forests to Dovan, surrounded by the soothing sounds of the river and nature.

Continue climbing through forests and past waterfalls, gaining altitude steadily as you head toward Deurali. The landscape becomes more alpine as you approach the Sanctuary.

Today is the highlight of the trek! Trek past Machapuchare Base Camp (MBC), then gradually ascend to Annapurna Base Camp, standing proudly at the foot of towering peaks. Feel the magic of being surrounded by Himalayan giants!
Trekking time: 5-6 hours | Overnight at Annapurna Base Camp.

After a memorable sunrise at ABC, retrace your steps down through MBC and Dovan to the serene village of Bamboo.

Continue descending to Jhinu Danda. Relax your tired muscles in the natural hot springs located nearby, a perfect reward after days of trekking.

Today marks the end of your trekking journey. Hike down to Nayapul and drive back to the relaxing comforts of Pokhara.

After breakfast, either fly or drive back to Kathmandu. Spend your final evening celebrating your adventure with a delicious farewell dinner.
