Detailed itinerary

Upon arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m/4,593ft), you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for rest or exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel. In the evening, a pre-trek briefing will be conducted by your guide.

Enjoy a guided tour of Kathmandu Valley, visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Later, prepare for the trek and check your gear.

Depart early for a scenic drive to Pokhara, a picturesque lakeside city with stunning views of Annapurna and Machapuchare. Upon arrival, explore Phewa Lake and relax before the trek.

After breakfast, drive to Nayapul (1,070m/3,510ft), the trek’s starting point. Trek along the Modi Khola River, passing through charming villages and terraced fields to reach Hile, where you stay overnight.

The trail gradually ascends through dense rhododendron forests and crosses traditional Magar settlements. Upon reaching Ghorepani, enjoy stunning views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South.

Early morning hike to Poon Hill, one of Nepal’s best vantage points, to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas. After descending to Ghorepani, continue trekking through forests and ridges to Tadapani.

Descend through forests, cross suspension bridges, and pass Gurung villages before reaching Chhomrong, the last major settlement before entering the Annapurna Sanctuary.

The trail leads down stone steps and ascends through bamboo forests and waterfalls, eventually reaching Dovan, a serene spot surrounded by nature.

Trek through Himalaya and Deurali before reaching Machapuchare Base Camp (MBC). The landscape becomes more rugged, with stunning views of Machapuchare, Annapurna South, and Gangapurna.

The trail gently ascends towards Annapurna Base Camp, a high-altitude glacial basin surrounded by towering peaks. Spend the day soaking in the incredible 360-degree Himalayan panorama.

After witnessing a magical sunrise at ABC, descend to Dovan or Bamboo, retracing your steps through the alpine valley and lush forests.

Re-enter the lower valleys, passing Bamboo and Sinuwa, before ascending back to Chhomrong, where trekkers can relax and enjoy the mountain village setting.

Follow a scenic route to Ghandruk, one of the most beautiful Gurung villages in Nepal. Here, you can explore the Gurung Museum and enjoy stunning views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.

Descend through terraced fields and forests to Syauli Bazaar, then drive back to Pokhara. Spend the evening relaxing by Phewa Lake.

Return to Kathmandu by road, enjoying scenic views of the Trishuli River along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy a farewell dinner.

Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of an unforgettable Annapurna adventure.
