Arrive in Kathmandu, the vibrant capital city of Nepal. You will be greeted by our representative at the airport and transferred to your hotel. After checking in and settling in, enjoy a welcome dinner with an introduction to the trek and a briefing about the adventure that lies ahead.
After a hearty breakfast, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley. Visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the ancient Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, and the vibrant Durbar Square. These sites will provide insight into Nepal's rich cultural, spiritual, and historical heritage. The day concludes with a free evening to relax and prepare for the trek.
After breakfast, take a scenic drive to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the trek’s starting point, Pothana. This is a relatively short day, allowing you to acclimatize and take in the incredible views of the surrounding mountains. Overnight stay at a comfortable teahouse in Pothana.
Begin the trek with a gradual ascent through dense rhododendron forests. The trail leads you through small villages where you can experience the local culture and lifestyle. Ghandruk, a charming Gurung village, is our destination for the day. The village offers spectacular views of Machhapuchhare (Fishtail), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli peaks. Stay overnight in a cozy teahouse.
After breakfast, continue your trek through the picturesque village of Ghandruk, crossing beautiful landscapes filled with terraced fields and lush forests. The trail ascends to Tadapani, another scenic village perched at an altitude of 2,630 meters. Enjoy panoramic views of the Annapurna Range and Machhapuchhare. Overnight in Tadapani.
Today’s trek takes you through a magical forest of towering rhododendron trees. As you continue your ascent, you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the surrounding peaks, including the mighty Annapurna Massif. Ghorepani, located at 2,850 meters, is a famous village and the gateway to Poon Hill. Relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings at your teahouse.
Wake up early for a short hike to Poon Hill, where you will witness one of the most awe-inspiring sunrises over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After soaking in the beauty of the Himalayas, return to Ghorepani for breakfast, and then descend toward Tirkhedhunga. The trail offers beautiful scenery of valleys, rivers, and traditional villages. Overnight in Tirkhedhunga.
The final day of trekking takes you through the terraced fields and traditional villages of the region, leading to Birethani. From here, take a short drive back to Pokhara, where you can relax by the serene Phewa Lake or explore the vibrant Lakeside area. Overnight in Pokhara.
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours, giving you time to relax and enjoy the scenic landscapes along the way. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check in to your hotel. The evening is free for you to explore or shop in the bustling Thamel district.
Today, depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure. If time allows, enjoy some last-minute sightseeing or shopping before your flight.
